In August 2007, we purchased our first home as husband and wife. The realtor described the cozy Brooklyn co-op apartment as needing “a little work.” Boy, was that an understatement! You won’t find any Extreme Home Makeover worthy photos or stories of gut renovations here. We’re saving that heavy lifting for when we finally buy the house with the yard and the picket fence. This blog simply chronicles our journey of making a once-neglected apartment a home.
